LaLiga giants, Barcelona have made a shock move to sign Alvaro Morata from Chelsea in January.
Morata has struggled to command a regular spot in the first-team at Chelsea.
The Spaniard arrived Stamford Bridge from Real Madrid in the summer of 2017.
The Mirror reports that Morata’s agents have been in touch with Barcelona over a possible January deal for the Spanish international.
The newspaper reports that a loan move until the end of the season is the most likely course of action, with the option of making it permanent in the summer.
The 26-year-old is seeking first-team football, which he is not getting at Chelsea.
Maurizio Sarri prefers Olivier Giroud and had in recent weeks used Eden Hazard as a striker.
